Azilal

Azilal rugs from Morocco are hand-knotted Berber carpets from the High Atlas Mountains, known for their bright colors and playful, almost abstract patterns. The are most of the time less densely knotted, as weaving lines are often incorporated between the rows of knots. Azilal rugs are made from wool, sometimes blended with colored cotton, giving them a vibrant texture and unique appearance.
