Zanafi
Zanafi rugs are traditional Berber rugs from the High Atlas in Morocco, deeply connected to Amazigh culture. They are fully flatwoven, meaning they have no pile, which makes them thinner, lighter, and more flexible than high-pile rugs. They are known for their graphic and often minimalist designs, featuring geometric patterns such as diamonds, stripes, and zigzag motifs. They are often two-toned, usually in an ivory base combined with another colour such as black, grey, brown, or a subtle accent tone.Because of their flatwoven technique, Zanafi rugs have a slim structure, making them practical to use and easy to move or layer in different spaces. They combine simplicity with character and bring a timeless, handcrafted feel to any interior.
